My Approach
My approach is largely relational which means I check in A LOT about how you're feeling about things "between us." The idea with relational therapy is that if you can build a safe, honest relationship with me, you can then go on to have safe honest relationships with others. I value feedback, opportunities to name and work through conflict and being told when things are going well or not so well.

I also heavily rely on psychodynamic, feminist, EFT, social justice and ACT lenses for therapeutic work. I have additional training in behavioral modalities like CBT/DBT to bring in skills in the moment.
I work really well with people who are open to laughing in a session and are okay with "highlighting a win" before jumping into exploring something painful or upsetting. It is all too easy to use therapy as the place to talk about the pain, but if we don't make space to focus on the good we cannot properly balance our attention and rewire our mind's power to change.
