FAQ about therapy
Current Fees:
Individual sessions are $250 and we meet for 50 minutes. Sessions with more than one person begin at $300 and meet for 55 minutes.

I am an out of network provider. Out-of-pocket therapy means clients pay their therapist directly rather than using insurance. If you have out of network insurance you can submit for reimbursement. This allows for greater privacy, flexibility in choosing a therapist, and often more tailored treatment without restrictions from insurance providers. Fees vary based on client's needs, level of wealth and access to resources. I do offer a sliding scale, please inquire for more specific questions.

The frequency of therapy depends on individual needs, goals, and circumstances. Many people start with weekly sessions to build momentum and establish a strong therapeutic relationship, then adjust over time to biweekly or monthly as needed. Some may benefit from more frequent sessions during periods of crisis, while others may check in occasionally for maintenance and support.

If you're wondering whether you need therapy, it might be a sign that it could be helpful. Therapy isn’t just for crises—it can provide support, self-understanding, and tools to navigate challenges, big or small. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just want a space to process things, talking to a therapist could be a valuable step.
